Sorry for the long+big file! But I felt it would be easiest to submit it like this... (thanks *muura for the suggestion!). And sorry if some of the text is hard to read, let me know if you can't make out something....

I am posting the comic today in hopes that people are busy making doomsday jokes, because erm, I am not super proud of this comic...but I promised to post it because I need to get over my need to be perfect. So let's just say this is a warm-up for my future comic projects that will surely be a lot better!

This comic was made for a tiny comic zine created by my classmates and it was done in a great hurry so that's why everything is pretty compressed (too much text in some places, too tight panels etc) and minimalistic backgrounds (the castle is referenced too). Also I guess the comic doesn't explain well enough what the spell thing is but it simply allows people to be changed into birds....and I guess my original idea was that the birds would get all the gold from the people who failed and so the treasure would grow and grow, until someone would pass the test.

I mean don't take this comic too seriously though, it's supposed to be a very stupid one anyway. ARGHhhh okay I need to stop being sorry that this thing exists, I should be happy that I made it and that's it, it is what it is, moving on. My next project is a story about my original characters, and it will be maybe 20-30 pages long, not sure yet.

Oh yeah and all the comic artists were given a Tarot card to make it easier to create a story, and mine was the Empress. If you know the meaning of the card, then I guess you can kind of see where I'm coming from with the story.

I know you said you don't care for it, but I really enjoyed reading this comic. :) It had a neat twist, and I liked the art. I don't think you need to feel bad because it's got a simple story or it wasn't your best effort or whatever. It was very entertaining.
